Another one of my favorite Michel Gondry videos. Cibo Matto’s Sugar Water is mind-bogglingly complex, it uses only a single detailed take that is split into two panels on the screen (one of which is played in reverse) to illustrate two narratives that converge in the exact midpoint of the song. The video uses no special effects, other than sheer ingenuity and incredible precision. Fantastic video!
